Greg Carnaghi, PE
PrincipalGreg Carnaghi founded Carnaghi Structural Consulting in 2016 with a focus on creative structural design, speed to market and cost-effective solutions. With over 20 years of experience, Greg has had the opportunity to work on award-winning projects for Advanced Manufacturing, Workplace, Healthcare, and Higher Education market sectors. Greg’s deep knowledge of structures has afforded him the opportunity to design Mid-West High-Rise buildings and Advanced Manufacturing Structures greater than a million square feet. Greg’s provides high-level, cost-effective schematic solutions early in the design process to maximize efficiencies.

Jim Corsiglia, PE, SE, LEED AP
PrincipalJim Corsiglia has designed a variety of building types in concrete, steel, hybrid steel over concrete, masonry and timber creating a strong background for solving unique structural engineering projects. With a comprehensive background that includes Adaptive Reuse, Healthcare, Education, Mixed Use, and Workplace market sectors, he is skilled at developing innovative solutions for the benefit of the project. Jim’s projects range from single story to high rise structures including low and moderate seismic design. As an important member of the team, Jim works closely with all parties to achieve the common goal of a superior building. His experience in structural design enables the team to develop cost effective and educated decisions throughout the duration of the project. Jim supports our local Universities by volunteering with Michigan State University, University of Michigan, and Lawerence Technological University.

Steve Ternullo, PE
Having more than 35 years of experience. Steve’s career has a full complement of experience. Steve owned a structural consulting business, eventually merging his firm into a large national structural and forensics engineering firm. His skill set allows a unique design perspective to evaluate a building from conceptual design through reverse engineering of an existing structure. The dual perspective allows Steve a greater band width in design creativity.

Gerd Hartung, PE, SE (Retired licenses)
Gerd Hartung is considered a generational structural engineer with more than 50 years of experience. His project experience stretches from coast to coast. Gerd functions as the company Subject Matter Expert for building systems, material specifications, material compatibility, and drawings quality control. Gerd’s constant drive for excellence and enhancement is well known throughout the industry. During Gerd’s career he co-founded the Michigan Masonry Advisory Board (MMAB) with the Masonry Institute of Michigan, a group of representatives from contractors, architects, and engineers, to improve overall quality, communication, and cooperation. Gerd also volunteered with NCEES to write exam questions and grade the national structural engineering examination. Gerd’s largest contribution to the engineering community was his involvement and being a founding member of Structural Engineering Association of Michigan (SEAMi).

Paul Chabot, PE
Paul Chabot has extensive structural engineering experience in the planning, design, and construction administration of large commercial projects. Over a variety of project types including Healthcare, Advance Manufacturing, Corporate Workplace, and Assisted Living, Paul has experience with ground-up new construction, renovations to existing structures, additions to existing structures, re-purposing of existing structures to comply with present design standards, and forensic investigations. Paul’s drive for excellence and open communication makes him easy for all disciplines to work with as teams look for the best solutions for every project.

Jonathon Gruber, PE
Jonathon Gruber has experience in many project types, including Healthcare, Advance Manufacturing, Education, Mixed Use, and Parking Structures. He has been involved with numerous projects varying in square footage from 50,000 to over a million square feet. Jonathon is well versed in the design of ground-up new construction and renovations to existing structures. Jonathon is proficient with concrete, steel and masonry buildings.

Max Drenth, PE
Max Drenth has a wide range of project experience including Healthcare, Science and Technology, Mission Critical, and Commercial, with projects completed throughout the United States. His structural engineering experience in new construction and existing building renovation allows him to utilize creative solutions for providing exceptional building design. Max’s skillset and diverse experience, combined with collaboration from team members, enables CSC to consistently meet or exceed client expectations.
